July 2022 has seen a decrease of 2.34% in the overall hiring activity when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs accounted for an 8.32% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in July 2022, registering an increase of 0.11% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in July 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 44.66% in July 2022, a 9.2% drop over the previous month. Computer Support Specialists came in next, claiming a share of 25.75% in July 2022, marking an 181.01% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 12.53% in July 2022, a 6.93% rise from June 2022.

Top five medical companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 43.38% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s medical industry during July 2022 over previous month.
Intelerad Medical Systems posted 170 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered an increase of 553.85% over the previous month, followed by Demant with 92 jobs and a 6.98% growth. Sonova with 66 IT jobs and Medtronic with 55 jobs, recorded a 37.14% drop and a flat growth, respectively, while Thermo Fisher Scientific recorded a 41.18% decline with 50 job postings during July 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s medical industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 35.27% share in July 2022, an 112.59% increase over June 2022. Germany featured next with an 18.68% share, up 26.77% over the previous month. Poland recorded an 11.37% share, a growth of 1.03% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.89%, up by 22.74% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 12.18% share, registered a growth of 23.53% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.93% share, down 19.79% over June 2022.
