Stellar Biotechnologies has entered into a manufacturing and supply agreement with Life Diagnostics to develop Stellar brand keyhole limpet haemocyanin ELISA test kits, used to detect anti-keyhole limpet haemocyanin antibodies.

Life Diagnostics manufactures ELISA kits, purified biomarkers and antibodies for cardiovascular, inflammation, immunotoxicity and immunology research.

Stellar CEO Frank Oakes said the company’s keyhole limpet haemocyanin product line will provide the research and clinical markets with a spectrum of reagents and materials in early 2012.

He added that Stellar would also offer keyhole limpet haemocyanin immunising products for use with the new ELISA test kits.
