Vancive has announced it will be an exhibiting at MD&M West this year.
The conference will take place in Anaheim, California, from 6 February to 8 February. Vancive looks forward to seeing you at booth #1247.
At this year’s show, Vancive will be featuring new silicone, acrylic and nonwoven materials. In addition to new products, the company has also expanded its manufacturing capabilities.

New Soft Silicone Adhesive (SSA) Products
Vancive has a number of new Soft Silicone Adhesive (SSA) products designed for applications such as advanced wound care dressings, patient monitoring, wearables, ostomy flanges and scar treatment.
- MED 5500SI is a single-coated, duolaminate polyurethane (PU) film with a soft silicone adhesive (SSA). This soft, conformable product is also repositionable while offering a high degree of user comfort.
- MED 5501SI is a single-coated, duolaminate PU film with an SSA and a 1.6mm/0.06in perforation pattern, which provides breathability.
- MED 6500SI is a double-coated, trilaminate polyurethane film with an SSA to adhere to the skin and an acrylic adhesive suitable for a wide variety of materials. MED 6501SI is a double-coated, trilaminate PU film with an SSA to adhere to the skin, and an acrylic adhesive suitable for a wide variety of materials.
- MED6501SI is designed with a 1.6mm / 0.06” perforation pattern in the trilaminate construction, which provides breathability.
- MED 6503SI is a double-coated, trilaminate transparent polyurethane film with an SSA to adhere to the skin, and an acrylic adhesive suitable for a wide variety of materials. This product features a 3mm / 0.11in perforation pattern in the trilaminate construction, which provides breathability.
- MED 6504SI is a double-coated, trilaminate PU film with an SSA to adhere to the skin, and an acrylic adhesive suitable for a wide variety of materials. A 4mm / 0.15in perforation pattern in the trilaminate construction provides breathability.
New acrylic adhesive coated films and nonwoven products
Vancive will also showcase a number of new acrylic adhesive coated films and nonwovens designed for a variety of medical applications, including surgical incise films, wound care, intravenous (IV) securement, wearable devices, and ostomy flanges.
- MED 5023 is a single-coated, soft, pliable, transparent polyurethane film with an acrylic adhesive. MED 5023’s thin and conformable film is transparent, allowing for site visibility. This product contains a rigid polypropylene casting sheet to assist with handling and processing, as well as a heavyweight liner ideal for kiss cutting, die cutting and converting. Designed for incise applications, wound care and IV securement.
- MED 5077A is a single-coated, soft, pliable, transparent polyethylene film with an acrylic adhesive. This conformable film is transparent, allowing for wound or site visibility. It is designed for incise applications, wound care and IV securement.
- MED 5400 is a single-coated, durable white nylon nonwoven with a medical grade acrylic adhesive, supplied on a white super-calendered kraft paper liner. It is designed for long-term wear applications such as wearable devices, ostomy flanges, and specialised wound dressings.
- MED 5599A is a single-coated, soft, pliable, pink polyurethane film with an acrylic adhesive. This product contains a polyethylene support (casting sheet) to assist with handling and processing and is designed for wound care applications and situations requiring high moisture vapour transmission rate (MVTR) and sustained periods of wear.
Expanded manufacturing capabilities
As a result of a recent acquisition of Finesse Medical, Vancive is better positioned than ever to serve medical device manufacturers with new and expanded capabilities.
In addition to rapid prototyping and advanced materials expertise, Vancive will now offer a wider range of manufacturing services, including specialised coating technologies, radio frequency welding, die cutting, tapered and sealed edge manufacturing, island placement, packaging, labeling, sterilisation.
