Kitron recently participated in the exhibition ‘Norwegian Healthcare & Life Science Innovation Expo’, which was held in Shanghai from 8 to 19 September 2010. The exhibition was organised by Norwegian and Chinese authorities to develop the healthcare market in China. Eight Norwegian companies and St. Olavs hospital presented their innovative products in the Nordic lighthouse, designed for the Expo Shanghai 2010.
This was a good opportunity for Kitron to present products, services and the newly established manufacturing plant in Ningbo for visitors, such as GE China, Elekta and Coviden. At the Kitron stand two high-level assembly products, which currently are assembled in Norway and Sweden, were presented: an ultrasound system from GE and a blood cell analyser from CellaVison. In addition, Kitron held a seminar on 10 September, with the subject: ‘Kitron’s business in China’. Around 40 guests from companies like Covidien, Johnson&Johnson, Carestream Health, Luye Pharma, Microsoft, Allian Transmission, Abbort, Chiesi and others participated.
