Turnkey laser systems
Designed to support both research and industrial activities, Modulight’s SparkLight turnkey laser platform offers versatility and ease-of-use to the expert and novice alike. The system embeds everything required to operate Modulight’s acclaimed broad-area lasers, from laser driver to cooling and monitoring, all in a compact package. A microprocessor-controlled supervisory circuit ensures the smooth and safe operation of the system. The laser platform operates in continuous-wave mode, with optional low-bandwidth modulation capabilities.
The turnkey laser platform can be adapted to power any of Modulight’s high-power laser arrays, offering a broad wavelength coverage: 635nm (3W), 650nm / 690nm (5W), 808nm (35W), 980nm (35W) and 1,470nm / 1,550nm (12W). The standard system output is a multimode fibre but alternative configurations including OEM subsystems can be delivered on request. In addition, multi-wavelength laser systems are supported.
Modulight has expanded the FiberLight product family by releasing multi-chip red laser modules for cosmetics, therapeutics and fluorescence applications. The laser modules can host up to four laser diodes which are coupled to a single 200µm core fibre with NA=0.22 and terminated with a stand
Modulight has announced new designs for the FiberLight product family addressing both power and functionality requirements of medical, defence and industrial markets, including display and projection application for visible lasers. The new platform has an improved coupling efficiency combined wit
Modulight has launched a set of OEM laser systems, ideal for medical and industrial applications. The sub-systems produce up to 1.5W optical power and cover most of the conventional wavelengths between 635nm and 1550nm. Standard configuration is based on Modulight Butterfly module line-
Modulight, a privately held laser solutions provider based in Tampere, Finland, celebrates this week the ten-year anniversary of its lasers with a 35% sales growth in H1 2010 compared with the previous year. Many of the company's long-term collaborators are expected to take part in the open h
Extended design capabilities have enabled wide range of Modulight lasers to be offered as OEM modules. The solutions can incorporate laser driver and cooling solution to match with the laser requirements. For customers this translates to added value by ease of use, shortened development cycle, an
