US-based company Danaher’s IT hiring declined 8.2% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 7.6% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

IT jobs claimed an 11.67% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 0.05% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Danaher IT hiring in August 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Danaher, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 59.56% in August 2021, and a 34.03% drop over July 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 12.23% in August 2021, and registered growth of 69.57%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 10.97% in August 2021, a 16.67% rise from July 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Danaher

North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 53.92% share, which marked a 15.69% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 29.15%, registering a 32.12% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 15.99% share and a 40.7% drop over July 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.63% and a month-on-month increase of 100%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.31%, registering a 50% drop over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 52.35% share in August 2021, a 7.73% decline over July 2021. India featured next with a 20.38% share, down 32.29% over the previous month. China recorded a 7.21% share, an increase of 15% compared with July 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Danaher IT hiring activity in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.99%, down by 31.23% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 28.84% share, a decline of 13.21% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.17% share, down 22.22% over July 2021.
