US-based company Danaher’s IT hiring increased by 21.7% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 20.65% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.
IT jobs claimed an 11.45% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.05% down over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Danaher IT hiring in July 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Danaher, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 66.43% in July 2021, and a 93.75% growth over June 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 10.24% in July 2021, and registered an 86.96% increase. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 6.9% in July 2021, a flat growth from June 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Danaher
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 47.38% share, which marked a 77.68% growth over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 32.62%, registering a 149.09% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 19.29% share and an 8% growth over June 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.48% and a month-on-month increase of 100%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.24%, registering a 66.67% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 41.9% share in July 2021, a 72.55% growth over June 2021. India featured next with a 22.62% share, up 126.19% over the previous month. United Kingdom recorded a 5.95% share, an increase of 38.89% compared with June 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Danaher IT hiring activity in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.86%, up by 76% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.29% share, a growth of 85.45% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.62% share, up 29.27% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.24%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
