The value marked a decrease of 34.4% over the previous quarter and a drop of 42.6% when compared with the last four-quarter average of $808.9m.

Europe held a 23.80% share of the global medical devices industry cross border venture financing deal value that totalled $1.95bn in Q2 2022. With an 8.64% share and deals worth $168.56m, France was the top country in Europe’s cross border venture financing deal value across medical devices industry.

In terms of deal activity, Europe recorded 31 cross border deals during Q2 2022, marking a decrease of 18.42% over the previous quarter and a rise of 4.20% over the last four-quarter average. The UK recorded seven deals during the month.
