The value marked an increase of 14.8% over the previous month of $173.1m and a drop of 34.6% when compared with the last 12-month average of $303.73m.

Europe held a 12.49% share of the global medical devices industry venture financing deal value that totalled $1.59bn in June 2022. With a 5.35% share and deals worth $85.07m, the UK was the top country in Europe’s venture financing deal value across medical devices industry.

In terms of venture financing deal activity, Europe recorded 25 deals during June 2022, marking an increase of 56.25% over the previous month and a rise of 25.00% over the 12-month average. The UK recorded four deals during the month.
