Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Abbott Laboratories IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Abbott Laboratories, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 30.14% in September 2022, and a 35.29% drop over August 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 26.03% in September 2022, and registered growth of 46.15%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 19.18% in September 2022, a 27.27% rise from August 2022.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 24.66%, registering a 5.88% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 24.66% share and a 10% drop over August 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 5.48% and a month-on-month decline of 50%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.37%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 43.84% share in September 2022, a 17.95% decline over August 2022. Ireland featured next with a 13.7% share, up 400% over the previous month. Australia recorded an 8.22% share, an increase of 500% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Abbott Laboratories IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.79%, down by 23.08% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.51% share, a growth of 35.29% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.7% share, down 37.5% over August 2022.
