The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.05% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 4.99% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.27% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Abbott Laboratories IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Abbott Laboratories, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52% in November 2022, and an 18.18% rise over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 15% in November 2022, and registered growth of 87.5%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 12% in November 2022, a 500% rise from October 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Abbott Laboratories
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 74% share, which marked a 100% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 15%, registering a 66.67% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 6% share and a 70% drop over October 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 4% and a month-on-month increase of 300%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 74% share in November 2022, a 105.56% growth over October 2022. The UK featured next with a 4% share, up 33.33% over the previous month. India recorded a 3% share, a decline of 70% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Abbott Laboratories IT hiring activity in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 46%, up by 15% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 46% share, a growth of 253.85% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7% share, down 46.15% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
