Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in March 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 75.49% in March 2022, a 5.71% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 7.52% in March 2022, marking a 24.32% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 5.56% in March 2022, a 17.07% drop from February 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 5.54% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s medical industry during March 2022 over previous month.
GE Healthcare posted 150 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered an increase of 16.28% over the previous month. Thermo Fisher Scientific with 76 IT jobs and Danaher with 63 jobs, recorded a 5.56% rise and a 30.77% drop, respectively, while Demant recorded a 23.33% increase with 37 job postings during March 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s medical industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 60.46% share in March 2022, a 10.63% decrease over February 2022. China featured next with a 16.83% share, up 60.94% over the previous month. Singapore recorded an 8.01% share, a growth of 28.95% compared with February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.01%, down by 5.84% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 32.35% share, registered a growth of 4.21% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.31% share, down 14.93% over February 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.33%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
