Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in June 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 61.47% in June 2022, an 8.41% rise over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 15.23% in June 2022, marking a 29.69% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 8.07% in June 2022, a 37.5% rise from May 2022.

Top five medical companies in Asia-Pacific’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 50.78% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s medical industry during June 2022 over previous month.
Thermo Fisher Scientific posted 113 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered an increase of 527.78% over the previous month, followed by Danaher with 52 jobs and a 3.7% drop. GE Healthcare with 50 IT jobs and Carl Zeiss with 47 jobs, recorded a 35.14% rise and a 31.88% drop, respectively, while Align Technology recorded a 93.33% increase with 29 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s medical industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 64.4% share in June 2022, a 7.01% increase over May 2022. China featured next with a 10.83% share, up 37.21% over the previous month. Malaysia recorded a 6.61% share, a growth of 200% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.92%, up by 3.75% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 28.07% share, registered a growth of 42.99% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.01% share, up 15.38% over May 2022.
