The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 11.15% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.25% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.89% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Australia’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s medical industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 35% in November 2022, registering a 56.25% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a 25% share, an increase of 66.67% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 20%, registering a 100% rise from October 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 15%, up 200% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Australia’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 240% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s medical industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
ResMed posted 10 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Cochlear with 3 jobs and a 50% growth. Abbott Laboratories with 2 IT jobs and Intelerad Medical Systems with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while NuVasive recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65%, down by 18.75% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20% share, registered a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 15% share, flat growth over October 2022.
