US-based company Baxter International’s IT hiring declined 9.8% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 6.77% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 6.73% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.24% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Baxter International IT hiring in October 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Baxter International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 39.66% in October 2022, and a 23.33% drop over September 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 20.69% in October 2022, and registered growth of 20%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 18.97% in October 2022, a 31.25% drop from September 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Baxter International
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 62.07% share, which marked a 16.13% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 29.31%, registering a 22.73% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 8.62% share and a 66.67% drop over September 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 56.9% share in October 2022, a 13.79% growth over September 2022. India featured next with a 10.34% share, down 53.85% over the previous month. Malaysia recorded a 6.9% share, an increase of 33.33% compared with September 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Baxter International IT hiring activity in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.69%, up by 28.13% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.69% share, a decline of 47.83% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.62% share, down 58.33% over September 2022.
