The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 11.41% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 19.13% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.64% decline over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Carl Zeiss, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 81.74% in April 2022, and a 62.07% rise over March 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 13.91% in April 2022, and registered growth of 128.57%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.83% in April 2022, a 28.57% rise from March 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Carl Zeiss
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 63.48% share, which marked a 563.64% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 21.74%, registering a 25% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 14.78% share and a 64.58% drop over March 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 55.65% share in April 2022, a 700% growth over March 2022. US featured next with a 21.74% share, up 25% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 13.91% share, a decline of 63.64% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Carl Zeiss IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.91%, up by 41.67% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.26% share, a growth of 90.91% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.83% share, up 12.5% over March 2022.
