Out of the total IT job titles posted by Carl Zeiss, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52.63% in May 2022, and a 6.25% drop over April 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 19.3% in May 2022, and registered growth of 266.67%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.04% in May 2022, an 11.11% drop from April 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 73.68% share, which marked a 61.54% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 17.54%, registering a 16.67% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 8.77% share and a 28.57% drop over April 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 73.68% share in May 2022, an 82.61% growth over April 2022. US featured next with a 17.54% share, down 16.67% over the previous month. Germany recorded an 8.77% share, a decline of 16.67% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Carl Zeiss IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 87.72%, up by 42.86% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 7.02% share, a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.26% share, down 40% over April 2022.
