
China’s medical industry registered a 0.5% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 2.48% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.62% share in November 2021, recording a decrease of 0.39% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in China’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.97% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s medical industry in November 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 76.29% in November 2021, registering a 12.94% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer Support Specialists claimed a 9.28% share, an increase of 200% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.19%, registering a 50% decline from October 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.12%, up 300% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 1.45% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s medical industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Sartorius posted 20 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 100% over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 16 jobs and a 33.33% drop. GE Healthcare with 11 IT jobs and PerkinElmer with 11 jobs, recorded a 62.07% decline and a 450% growth, respectively, while Danaher recorded an increase of 150% with 10 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.38%, down by 10.47% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with an 11.34% share, registered a decline of 15.38% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.28% share, up 80% over October 2021.
