China’s medical industry registered a 7.2% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.04% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.64% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.57% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in China’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s medical industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 51.35% in November 2022, registering a 32.14% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 27.03% share, an increase of 42.86% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.81%, registering a 100% rise from October 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 8.11%, down 50% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 50% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s medical industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
GE Healthcare posted 14 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 133.33% over the previous month, followed by Danaher with 7 jobs and a 30% drop. Koninklijke Philips with 3 IT jobs and PerkinElmer with 3 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Winner Medical Group recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.27%, down by 10.34% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.62% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.11% share, down 57.14% over October 2022.
