US-based company Danaher ’s IT hiring declined 2.5% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.69% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 9.35% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.41% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Danaher IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Danaher, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 48.98% in October 2022, and a 20% drop over September 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 19.39% in October 2022, and registered growth of 18.75%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.2% in October 2022, a 66.67% rise from September 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Danaher

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 42.86% share, which marked a flat growth over the previous month.

North America stood next with 39.8%, registering a 26.42% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.27% share and an 18.18% rise over September 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.06% and a month-on-month increase of 200%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.02%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 37.76% share in October 2022, a 27.45% decline over September 2022. India featured next with a 21.43% share, down 27.59% over the previous month. China recorded a 10.2% share, an increase of 11.11% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Danaher IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.2%, up by 1.72% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.53% share, a decline of 16.13% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.22% share, down 38.89% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.04%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
