Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in February 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 67.24% in February 2022, a 7.51% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 12.1% in February 2022, marking a 17.9% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 8.64% in February 2022, a 35.37% drop from January 2022.

Top five medical companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 10.28% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s medical industry during February 2022 over previous month.
Sonova posted 191 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a decline of 13.96% over the previous month, followed by Demant with 104 jobs and a flat growth. Arjo with 59 IT jobs and medi GmbHKG with 53 jobs, recorded a 42.16% drop and an 8.16% rise, respectively, while Danaher recorded a 62.07% increase with 47 job postings during February 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s medical industry
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 25.3% share in February 2022, a 16.77% decrease over January 2022. The UK featured next with a 19.75% share, down 9.96% over the previous month. Switzerland recorded a 19.29% share, a drop of 8.62% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.34%, down by 19.98% from January 2022. Entry Level positions with a 16.56% share, registered a growth of 15.92% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 13.1% share, up 5.88% over January 2022.
