Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in September 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 46.22% in September 2022, a 1.18% rise over the previous month. Computer Support Specialists came in next, claiming a share of 20.5% in September 2022, marking a 42.5% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 15.83% in September 2022, a 20.72% drop from August 2022.

Top five medical companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 7.08% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s medical industry during September 2022 over previous month.
Arjo posted 89 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered an increase of 18.67% over the previous month, followed by Intelerad Medical Systems with 51 jobs and a 5000% growth. Thermo Fisher Scientific with 36 IT jobs and Demant with 29 jobs, recorded a 37.93% drop and a 54.69% drop, respectively, while Medtronic recorded a 57.14% increase with 22 job postings during September 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s medical industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 30.4% share in September 2022, a 31.01% increase over August 2022. Germany featured next with a 17.09% share, down 33.1% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 6.83% share, a drop of 42.42% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.36%, up by 1.7% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 17.09% share, registered a growth of 39.71% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 6.83% share, down 35.59% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.36%, recording a month-on-month growth of 100%.
