US-based company GE Healthcare’s IT hiring rose 20.0% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 20.41% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed an 11.66% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 3.31% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops GE Healthcare IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by GE Healthcare, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 70% in October 2022, and a 36.59% rise over September 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.25% in October 2022, and registered growth of 333.33%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 5% in October 2022, a 100% rise from September 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at GE Healthcare

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 45% share, which marked a flat growth over the previous month.

North America stood next with 31.25%, registering a 400% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 21.25% share and an 88.89% rise over September 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.5% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 32.5% share in October 2022, a 7.14% decline over September 2022. US featured next with a 31.25% share, up 400% over the previous month. China recorded a 7.5% share, an increase of 200% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead GE Healthcare IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.75%, up by 46.88% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 37.5% share, a growth of 114.29% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.75% share, down 40% over September 2022.
