
US-based company GE Healthcare’s IT hiring rose 3.2% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 8.73% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 19% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 1.49% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops GE Healthcare IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by GE Healthcare, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 86.39% in October 2021, and a flat growth over September 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 5.33% in October 2021, and registered growth of 50%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 4.14% in October 2021, a 36.36% drop from September 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at GE Healthcare
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 52.07% share, which marked a 1.12% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 31.36%, registering a 5.36% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 11.24% share and a 32.14% drop over September 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 4.73% and a month-on-month flat growth. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.59%, registering a 50% drop over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 31.95% share in October 2021, a 6.9% decline over September 2021. US featured next with a 27.81% share, down 9.62% over the previous month. China recorded a 17.16% share, an increase of 7.41% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead GE Healthcare IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.13%, up by 2.94% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 30.18% share, a decline of 10.53% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.69% share, down 13.33% over September 2021.
