US-based company GE Healthcare’s IT hiring rose 34.5% in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 28.35% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

IT jobs claimed an 11.02% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 1.29% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops GE Healthcare IT hiring in November 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by GE Healthcare, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 73.86% in November 2022, and a 10.17% rise over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 17.05% in November 2022, and registered growth of 7.14%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 4.55% in November 2022, a 100% rise from October 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at GE Healthcare

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 50% share, which marked a 10% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 30.68%, registering a 58.82% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with an 18.18% share and a 36% drop over October 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.14% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 28.41% share in November 2022, a 16.67% decline over October 2022. China featured next with a 15.91% share, up 133.33% over the previous month. US recorded a 14.77% share, a decline of 48% compared with October 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead GE Healthcare IT hiring activity in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.36%, up by 10.2% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 35.23% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.41% share, flat growth over October 2022.
