Germany’s medical industry registered a 6.2% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.94% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.63% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.13% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Germany’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.72% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry in November 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 55.13% in November 2022, registering a 28.33% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 16.67% share, an increase of 62.5% over the previous month.

3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 11.54%, registering a 50% rise from October 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 10.26%, down 27.27% over the previous month.

Top five medical companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 192.86% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

Fresenius SEKGaA posted 12 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 300% over the previous month, followed by Paul Hartmann with 12 jobs and a flat growth. PHARMATECHNIKKG with 8 IT jobs and Dragerwerk AGKGaA with 5 jobs, recorded a 166.67% growth and a 66.67% growth, respectively, while Baxter International recorded a decline of 20% with 4 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.21%, down by 19.74% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 15.38% share, registered an increase of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.41% share, down 37.5% over October 2022.
