India’s medical industry registered a 10.4% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.02% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 17.95% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.9% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in India’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s medical industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 64.85% in November 2022, registering a 19.14% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 16.34% share, a decrease of 45.9% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 6.44%, registering a 38.1% decline from October 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.95%, down 79.17% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 1.27% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s medical industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Carl Zeiss posted 78 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 34.48% over the previous month, followed by Danaher with 27 jobs and a 28.57% growth. GE Healthcare with 25 IT jobs and ResMed with 14 jobs, recorded a 16.67% decline and a 36.36% decrease, respectively, while Koninklijke Philips recorded a decline of 57.69% with 11 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.9%, down by 40.1% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.68% share, registered a decline of 21.95% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.42% share, down 34.62% over October 2022.
