The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 30.31% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 13.67% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 2.44% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Koninklijke Philips IT hiring in September 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Koninklijke Philips, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 53.06% in September 2022, and a flat growth over August 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 15.31% in September 2022, and registered a decline of 54.55%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.2% in September 2022, a 61.54% drop from August 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Koninklijke Philips

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 48.98% share, which marked a 39.24% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 33.67%, registering a 25% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.27% share and an 85.71% rise over August 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 3.06% and a month-on-month decline of 40%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.02%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 34.69% share in September 2022, an 8.11% decline over August 2022. US featured next with a 32.65% share, down 23.81% over the previous month. China recorded a 6.12% share, a decline of 83.78% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Koninklijke Philips IT hiring activity in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.41%, down by 31% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 15.31% share, a decline of 21.05% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 13.27% share, down 23.53% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.02%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
