Netherlands-based company Koninklijke Philips IT hiring rose 5.3% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.18% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 16.14% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.45% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Koninklijke Philips IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Koninklijke Philips, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 38.26% in July 2022, and a 26.67% drop over June 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 16.52% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 17.39%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 16.52% in July 2022, a 5% drop from June 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Koninklijke Philips
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 45.22% share, which marked a 4% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 41.74%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 6.96% share and a flat growth over June 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 5.22% and a month-on-month flat growth. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.87%, registering an 80% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 40% share in July 2022, an 8% decline over June 2022. India featured next with a 35.65% share, down 35.94% over the previous month. Brazil recorded a 5.22% share, an increase of 20% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Koninklijke Philips IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.57%, down by 20% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.87% share, a decline of 4% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.57% share, down 26.67% over June 2022.
