July 2022 has seen a decrease of 6.27% in the overall hiring activity when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs accounted for a 12.19% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in July 2022, registering a decrease of 1.03% over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in July 2022

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 45% in July 2022, a 30.77% drop over the previous month. Computer and Information Analysts came in next, claiming a share of 20% in July 2022, marking a 300% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 15% in July 2022, a 25% drop from June 2022.

Medtronic posted 4 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Esri with 3 jobs and a flat growth. Agilent Technologies with 2 IT jobs and Nanit with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while GE Healthcare recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during July 2022.

Israel commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 45% share in July 2022, a 50% decrease over June 2022. United Arab Emirates featured next with a 15% share, up 200% over the previous month. Kuwait recorded a 10% share, a flat growth compared with June 2022.
