IT jobs accounted for an 11.43% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in September 2022, registering a decrease of 2.07% over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in September 2022

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 68.18% in September 2022, an 87.5% rise over the previous month. Computer and Information Research Scientists came in next, claiming a share of 13.64% in September 2022, marking a flat month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 9.09% in September 2022, a 60% drop from August 2022.

Medtronic posted 8 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered an increase of 300% over the previous month, followed by GE Healthcare with 2 jobs and a flat growth. Boston Scientific with 2 IT jobs and Danaher with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Koninklijke Philips recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during September 2022.
