October 2022 has seen a decrease of 5.71% in the overall hiring activity when compared with September 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 10.91% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in October 2022, registering a decrease of 1.85% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in October 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 50% in October 2022, a 40% drop over the previous month. Computer and Information Analysts came in next, claiming a share of 22.22% in October 2022, marking a 300% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 22.22% in October 2022, a 100% rise from September 2022.
Miscellaneous Computer Occupations registered a share of 5.56% in October 2022, a flat growth over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Middle East & Africa’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 333.33% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Middle East & Africa’s medical industry during October 2022 over previous month.
InSightec posted 4 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Danaher with 3 jobs and a 200% growth. GE Healthcare with 2 IT jobs and Medaware with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Esri recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during October 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Middle East & Africa’s medical industry
Israel commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 38.89% share in October 2022, a 50% decrease over September 2022. Saudi Arabia featured next with a 27.78% share, up 150% over the previous month. United Arab Emirates recorded a 16.67% share, a flat growth compared with September 2022.
