The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.01% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.69% share in August 2022, recording a decrease of 0.34% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands medical industry in August 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 43.75% in August 2022, registering a 12.5% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 37.5% share, an increase of 200% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 12.5%, registering a 60% decline from July 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 6.25%, down 75% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 87.5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands medical industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Thermo Fisher Scientific posted 9 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 50% over the previous month, followed by Abbott Laboratories with 2 jobs and a flat growth. Koninklijke Philips with 2 IT jobs and Danaher with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Getinge recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 93.75%, up by 15.38% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 6.25% share, registered a decline of 83.33% compared with the previous month.
