Poland’s medical industry registered a 22.1% drop in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 12.89% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 14.61% share in September 2022, recording a decrease of 2.78% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry in September 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 44.74% in September 2022, registering a 45.16% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer Support Specialists claimed a 21.05% share, a decrease of 11.11% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.79%, registering a 33.33% decline from August 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 13.16%, down 70.59% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 42.86% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
Demant posted 19 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a drop of 56.82% over the previous month, followed by Arjo with 7 jobs and a flat growth. Smith & Nephew with 2 IT jobs and Baxter International with 2 jobs, recorded a 50% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while PerkinElmer recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.21%, down by 33.33% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 13.16% share, registered a decline of 68.75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 2.63% share, flat growth over August 2022.
