Poland’s medical industry registered a 6.8% drop in IT hiring activity in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.12% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.27% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 3.36% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry in October 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 56.76% in October 2022, registering an 8.7% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 21.62% share, an increase of 60% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.81%, registering a 33.33% decline from September 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.41%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 40.91% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Alcon posted 12 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Demant with 8 jobs and a 57.89% drop. Koninklijke Philips with 4 IT jobs and Smith & Nephew with 4 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a 100% growth, respectively, while Elekta recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.57%, down by 34.21% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 16.22% share, registered an increase of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 13.51% share, up 400% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.7%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
