Poland’s medical industry registered a 9.0% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.69% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.86% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 1.87% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry in November 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 45.45% in November 2022, registering a 61.54% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed an 18.18% share, a flat growth over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 18.18%, registering a 50% decline from October 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 13.64%, up 50% over the previous month.

Top five medical companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 10.53% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

Demant posted 6 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 53.85% over the previous month, followed by Qiagen with 4 jobs and a 300% growth. Zimmer Biomet Holdings with 3 IT jobs and Smith & Nephew with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while Coloplast recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.09%, down by 56.67% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 27.27% share, registered an increase of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.64% share, down 50% over October 2022.
