The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 25.11% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 10.44% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 1.14% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 59.09% in November 2022, and a 39.53% drop over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 20.45% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 10%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 13.64% in November 2022, a 57.14% drop from October 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Thermo Fisher Scientific
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 90.91% share, which marked a 27.27% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 6.82%, registering an 84.21% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 2.27% share and a 94.12% drop over October 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 79.55% share in November 2022, a 32.69% decline over October 2022. Mexico featured next with a 9.09% share, up 100% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 2.27% share, a decline of 75% compared with October 2022.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 47.73%, down by 51.16% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 29.55% share, a decline of 40.91% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 22.73% share, down 61.54% over October 2022.
