The UK’s medical industry registered a 19.8% rise in IT hiring activity in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 0.52% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.22% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 1.15% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in the UK’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.36% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s medical industry in July 2022.
1) Computer Support Specialists recorded a share of 51.97% in July 2022, registering a 464.29% growth over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 26.97% share, an increase of 24.24% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.16%, registering a 90.48% rise from June 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 3.62%, up 83.33% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in the UK’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 210% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s medical industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Intelerad Medical Systems posted 164 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 583.33% over the previous month, followed by System C Healthcare with 17 jobs and a 240% growth. Arjo with 17 IT jobs and Randox Laboratories with 11 jobs, recorded a 43.33% decline and a 57.14% growth, respectively, while Acteon Group recorded an increase of 100% with 8 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 87.5%, up by 177.08% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 7.24% share, registered a decline of 8.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.26% share, down 27.27% over June 2022.
