The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 18.67% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.45% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.27% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 51.99% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s medical industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

Danaher posted 94 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 154.05% over the previous month, followed by Becton Dickinson and Co with 75 jobs and an 85.9% drop. Abbott Laboratories with 74 IT jobs and Laboratoryof America Holdings with 57 jobs, recorded a 105.56% growth and a 9.52% decrease, respectively, while Arthrex recorded an increase of 8.82% with 37 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.19%, down by 53.34% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.83% share, registered a decline of 41.01% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 18.87% share, down 32.84% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.1%, recording a month-on-month decline of 88.89%.
