The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.36% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.55% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.16% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 25.9% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s medical industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Medtronic posted 159 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 119 jobs and a 34.62% drop. Laboratoryof America Holdings with 81 IT jobs and Align Technology with 50 jobs, recorded a flat growth and an 18.03% decrease, respectively, while Demant recorded an increase of 23.08% with 48 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.6%, down by 23.58% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.57% share, registered an increase of 1.56% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.76% share, down 16.35% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.06%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
