US-based Inova Labs, developer of products to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, has received the CE Mark for its LifeChoice portable oxygen concentrator system.
LifeChoice delivers oxygen to patients using a proprietary ‘pulse wave’ technology, which ensures that the patient receives maximum benefit.

The system also has am automatic mode that enables the patient to receive the prescribed oxygen dose even while asleep.
The company is planning to begin commercialisation of LifeChoice in the European region in early 2012.
The device has also been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
