M&As this week: ZOLL Medical, Winncare Group, ResMed

ZOLL Medical has acquired Payor Logic™, a US healthcare software solutions company. 

ZOLL Medical has acquired Payor Logic, a US healthcare software solutions company.

The acquisition will add Payor Logic’s technology to ZOLL’s portfolio. It is intended to improve Zoll’s accounts receivable (A/R) software solutions. It is aimed at enhancing the financial performance of ZOLL and enable it to provide better patient care.

Based in the US, ZOLL is a medical device and technology company.

Winncare Group has acquired Mangar Health for an undisclosed amount. The transaction was supported by a French investment company named IDI.

The acquisition added Mangar’s diverse patient care solutions, including bathing and lifting devices to its portfolio.

The combined capabilities of the companies will strengthen and accelerate WinnCare’s services in the UK and provide comprehensive solutions-based approach to their customers.

Based in France, Winncare is a medical device company. Mangar Health is based in the UK and also a medical device company.

ResMed has acquired Propeller Health in a $225m deal.

Propeller will function as a standalone entity within the portfolio of ResMed’s Respiratory Care unit.

Propeller’s health solutions comprise digital platform for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. These are intended to strengthen ResMed’s product portfolio.

Propeller will retain its association with pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organisations. Following the acquisition, it will deliver digital therapeutics and information to patients using inhalers.

ResMed is a medical device company, while Propeller Health is a medical technology organisation. Both companies are based in the US.

Factory CRO has merged with Boston Biomedical Associates.

The combined company will have diverse medical therapeutic offering, which will serve a larger customer base with customised services.

Factory CRO is a Netherlands-based contract research organisation (CRO) specialising in medical devices. Boston Biomedical is also a CRO, based in the US.
