US-based medical device company Labtician Ophthalmics Inc has formed a joint venture (JV ) named Labtician Thea with French ophthalmology products manufacturer Laboratoires Thea SA.

The JV company will develop a solution for preservative-free glaucoma, dry eye and lid hygiene management, while they will provide total practice solutions for professionals in Canada.

EBR Systems Inc has raised $50m in a financing round led by MH Carnegie and CO Pty Ltd and Brandon Capital Partners .

The US-based implantable systems developer plans to use the funds to carry out the global SOLVE-CRT study.

Fluxion Biosciences Inc has signed a distribution agreement to sell its BioFlux and IonFlux platform to Harvard Bioscience Inc’s customers in North America.

Fluxion is a developer of analytical instruments for cellular analysis, whereas Harvard Bioscience is a specialised products manufacturer.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.

Genedrive plc has signed an agreement with Sysmex Asia Pacific Pte Ltd for the distribution of its CE-Marked Genedrive HCV ID Kit and Genedrive platform.

genedrive will be responsible for product development and manufacturing, while Sysmex Asia Pacific will be responsible for sales and marketing activities in the Asia-Pacific region.

genedrive is a UK-based molecular diagnostics company, while Sysmex Asia Pacific is a Singapore-based laboratory testing instruments developer.

US-based precision medicine solutions developer Syapse Inc has secured $30m in a Series D venture financing round.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its business operations.
