US-based healthcare diagnostic company Alzeca Biosciences Inc has secured $11m through a series A venture financing round.

The company plans to use the funds towards the development of its ADx nanoparticle.

UK-based point-of-care company Sphere Medical Holding Plc plans to raise a total of £8m ($9.84m) through two private placements of 283 million convertible preferred shares priced at £0.03 ($0.04) each.

Senseonics Holdings Inc has announced a public offering of 11 million common stock shares priced at $2.15 each to raise $25.02m.

The US-based company plans to use the funds towards the commercialisation of its glucose monitoring system named Eversense and for general corporate purposes.
