The MindFrame Capture LP devices use microcatheter-based flow restoration and clot extraction to treat ischaemic strokes.
The low-profile design of the devices provide enhanced access to distal areas and through tortuous anatomies, as well as increased aspiration, both locally and proximally.
The Capture LP devices have been expanded to include a 4mm diameter and shorter length sizes, which can be deployed through catheters as small as 10/14.
MindFrame president and CEO Ken Charhut said the CE mark approval allows physicians to treat a majority of patients with ischaemic stroke by using low-profile technology for efficient navigation and better aspiration.
”MindFrame is committed to developing leading-edge devices that provide improved procedural and clinical outcomes for clinicians and their patients," Charhut said.
To date, MindFrame Capture LP devices are not approved for marketing in the US.
