Health technology company Royal Philips has released three solutions as part of its IntelliSpace Enterprise Edition that utilises adaptive intelligence and technology to allow informed medical decisions.

The new IntelliSpace Precision Medicine Oncology, Exchange and Medicine Genomics solutions are intended to deliver enterprise-wide informatics across care settings.

IntelliSpace Precision Medicine Oncology comprises workflow solutions for healthcare organisations to launch, deploy and scale precision medicine programmes.

“The portfolio of IntelliSpace Enterprise Edition is intended to help health systems minimise costs while improving patient and staff satisfaction.”

Designed for hospital networks, IntelliSpace Exchange facilitates easy exchange of clinical information.

IntelliSpace Precision Medicine Genomics is a workflow platform that combines genomic data, disease histology and patient phenotype to provide a biomarker-informed diagnostic and therapeutic view.

The portfolio of IntelliSpace Enterprise Edition is intended to help health systems minimise costs while improving patient and staff satisfaction.

It combines Philips Radiology, Cardiology and now Precision Medicine portfolios to enable the optimised flow of information, data, enterprise management and enhanced care.

The product suite was first implemented by CarolinaEast Health System last year. Early analysis showed that the solutions led to improvements in clinical workflow, communication and operational efficiencies.

Royal Philips Connected Care chief business leader Carla Kriwet said: “In the constantly evolving health IT landscape, we’re dedicated to working with leading hospital organisations like CarolinaEast Health System, to provide them the most advanced technology and adaptive intelligence to manage vast amounts of patient-generated data to help drive precision diagnosis.

“With the additional capabilities of IntelliSpace Enterprise Edition, clinicians at CarolinaEast have access to data from disparate sources – including integrated information within the EHR – and predictive analytics, to help drive better-informed care decisions.”

In November last year, the company launched IntelliSpace Discovery 3.0 to enable development of artificial intelligence assets and their deployment in radiology.

Powered by Philips HealthSuite, the open platform provides radiologists with thorough data analytics in medical imaging.
