Redirect Health, a healthcare solution platform, has announced a collaboration with Steward Health and Kroger/Smith’s. The partnership with the respective healthcare system and pharmacy chain is aimed at providing access to affordable healthcare plans and creating solutions for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) amidst soaring healthcare costs.
“Out-of-pocket costs, deductibles, and premium costs are rising at alarming rates, and SMBs are feeling the squeeze,” said Dr. David Berg, CEO and Co-Founder at Redirect Health.
“As we continue to prioritise needs of communities across the US, we are proud to be collaborating with Steward Health Care and Kroger/Smith’s in Utah to show brokers and SMBs why creating simplicity in the healthcare market is vital.
According to the companies, SMBs are being priced out of healthcare systems due to the yearly double-digit premium increases. Employees, it seems, often cannot afford to opt into health plans due to traditional pricing structures that make widespread adoption unattainable. Redirect Health aims to provide local and national access to a value-based cost control system. This should have the effect of reducing high out-of-pocket costs.
Redirect Health and Kroger/Smith’s will also team up to offer more affordable prices for prescriptions.
“Redirect Health’s affordable healthcare plans are designed with employees in mind, and this collaboration will allow business owners to offer a healthcare option that provides their employees with premium, deductible, and out-of-pocket relief that results in a healthier, happier, more efficient workforce,” Berg added.
