Attomaker has developed a rapid serological blood testing device, which it says can provide results in approximately ten minutes.
The device is currently being tested at St Thomas’ Hospital in London to diagnose patients who have been exposed to Covid-19. If successful, the test will be able to show if a patient has been exposed to the virus, as well as using the inflammatory biomarker C-reactive protein to indicate whether an individual is mounting an active immune response to the infection.
