QuEST Global has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) solution that will allow healthcare professionals to increase the testing of Covid-19 patients who exhibit symptoms of pneumonia. The AI uses advanced deep learning models and can differentiate and identify chest X-rays of Covid-19 patients. The solution is said to have an accuracy of over 95% and can be installed on the cloud which makes it accessible on edge for users.

The Marena Group has started the production of new non-surgical masks that are designed for children to address their needs amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The antibacterial masks are washable and reusable and will be manufactured in three sizes for children between the ages of five and 16. As per the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), children who are older than two years have to wear ‘cloth face coverings’ when they present are in ‘community settings’.

Home Credit and its sister company SOTIO have announced that they have donated 60,000 KN95 respirator masks and 70,000 disposable surgical masks to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. Additionally, 20,000 masks were also distributed to healthcare facilities and employees in Kansas City. These donations are expected to aid the address the need for personal protective equipment amid the Covid-19 health crisis.
