MGI is working with UFPA (Universidade Federal do Pará) and CISAM (Integrated Center for Socio-Biodiversity in the Amazon) on a pioneering project that uses genomics to protect the biodiversity of the Amazon — from fish and aquatic insects to the communities that depend on them.
